More UK Businesses Choose NetSuite for End-to-End Business Automation

Companies Switch to NetSuite from Sage and salesforce.com to Increase Sales and Productivity

LONDON, 17 December 2008 — NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for mid-market enterprises and divisions of large companies, today announced some of the latest growing companies across the United Kingdom who have chosen NetSuite over disparate business management applications such as Sage Line 50, QuickBooks and software from salesforce.com to grow their businesses and improve overall productivity. These organisations have embraced NetSuite for its integrated suite, which delivers enterprise resource planning ( ERP) / accounting, customer relationship management ( CRM), and Ecommerce capabilities in a single on-demand application. The most recent UK customers implementing NetSuite include four businesses representing a cross-section of industries. Innovise (software), Rapid Platforms (hoisting equipment retail and services), Gradwell (telecommunications), and Sweet Squared (beauty supply distribution) all found NetSuite to be superior to their old systems and have each realised significant cost savings since they switched to NetSuite.

Innovise ( www.innovise.com), based in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, UK, is a fast-growing supplier of managed IT solutions and workforce management software to the small and medium-size enterprise market. As its workforce grew, Innovise switched from a combination of salesforce.com and Maximiser to NetSuite OneWorld to enhance its financial data security, increase business performance visibility and improve sales and account management. The company has been reaping the rewards ever since.

"NetSuite has delivered an excellent return on investment — more than we expected," said Graeme Hughes, Head of Sales & Marketing for Innovise's software division. "Sales have increased significantly since NetSuite was introduced, and in light of the targets the business has set for me, if we didn't have NetSuite I wouldn't fancy my chances. In addition, our use of NetSuite OneWorld has immediately stopped duplication of effort — saving a third of our time just through the reduction in administration between sales and finance. It has also improved our financial accuracy by eliminating the errors that are inherent with manual processing."

Rapid Platforms ( www.rapidplatforms.co.uk), based in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, UK, is a worldwide provider of cherry pickers, access platforms and hoisting equipment. In business since 1982, the company offers the sale or hire of hoisting equipment as well as accredited training at its premises or on site. Prior to July 2008, Rapid Platforms was using a combination of ACT! and Sage Line 50, but the company soon needed new software to increase efficiency. In order to truly drive revenue and move forward, the company realised a single solution was critical. Rapid Platforms became a NetSuite customer in September.

"I chose NetSuite because it allows my staff to view our key performance indicators exactly as I do so we can work together to improve them," said Alistair Jordan, Director, Rapid Platforms. "With NetSuite, Rapid Platforms has automated many of our processes and managed to stop information from slipping through the gaps. Now all our employees are working through the same system and we'll have NetSuite integrated with our in-house hiring and vehicle tracking systems as well."

Gradwell ( www.gradwell.net), based in Bath, Avon, UK, has been a leading provider of voice over IP (VoIP) since 1998. Gradwell builds and manages 'intelligent' Internet systems that support a business' need for broadband, email, domains, web hosting and telecom services. As Gradwell's employee base grew from six to 30 people in the past two years, QuickBooks couldn't keep up. The move to NetSuite offered Gradwell the right system to support its rapid growth. Since joining NetSuite, Gradwell has been able to customise its system and added a number of features, including screen-pop technology from NetSuite partner Camrivox.

"We chose NetSuite because it simply does everything," said Peter Gradwell, Managing Director of Gradwell. "If we had continued having lots of separate systems, we would be running round going crazy. We switched from a combination of QuickBooks, e-Support and various in-house packages to the one system of NetSuite. Since then it has been helping us with many areas of our business including invoicing, key performance indicators and reporting, which used to be a highly work-intensive process with our previous software."

Sweet Squared ( www.sweetsquared.co.uk), based in Leeds, UK, is the main UK distributor for U.S.-headquartered professional nail products and services company Creative Nail Design.Sweet Squared took over the distribution rights from another company in September 2007 and with over 20,000 direct customers in its database and three sub-distributors, the company needed a system to run the business straight away. A combination of disconnected systems didn't do the trick and Sweet Squared needed a system which provided them with a consolidated view of the company.

"Before NetSuite we used a number of different systems which made it really difficult to get the information we needed to run our business smoothly," said Kate Linley, Financial Controller for Sweet Squared. "Now I've got the information at the push of a button. The detail is better, there's more of it and there's less margin for human error. We can easily create reports to do weekly, monthly or even yearly comparisons. That's the beauty of it."
