NetSuite Brings Industry's Leading Integrated On-Demand Business To Canadian Enterprises

Adds Canadian GST & PST and Statutory Reporting To CRM/ERP/Ecommerce All-in-One Solution

SAN MATEO, CA and TORONTO—18 November 2004—NetSuite, Inc., today announced the availability of its award-winning on-demand business applications for the Canadian market, including NetSuite, NetSuite Small Business, NetCRM, NetERP and NetCommerce. All NetSuite product offerings targeting businesses large and small have been localised for the Canadian market, from local terminology and GST & PST accounting requirements to statutory reporting, allowing customers to automate business operations from customer relationship management, to sales, to support, to financials and to ecommerce. Today, with thousands of customers globally already subscribing to NetSuite's on-demand applications, NetSuite is the world's leading provider of online business application suites. For more information about the NetSuite product offerings in Canada, please go to www.netsuite.com.sg/canada.

Traditional software applications utilised by small and mid-sized companies operate in silos and do not allow business data to move easily between the departments when and where it is needed. Companies are forced to run their businesses on these separate software packages—one for accounting, one for warehousing, one for sales force management and one for customer support—and then spend even more money to try and tie them together through costly integration or none at all. The cost of implementation, integration and ongoing application maintenance in such environments is typically many times the cost of the software itself and provides one more area for the management to worry about rather than the business itself.

NetSuite solves these problems with its One System architecture that allows CRM, ERP and ecommerce processes all to be managed in a single application. Accordingly, NetSuite is the first small and mid-market software application—either online or self-managed—to provide complete order management, whether it be initiated by a sales representative converting a quote or by an online shopper checking out of the Web store, through fulfilment and shipping to invoice generation including GST & PST calculation and subsequent collections and after-sales support in a single application. Tracking every step of the customer lifecycle means that NetSuite provides the first true 360 degree view of customer and vendor relationships for superior understanding and service. In addition, NetSuite is delivered as an online service, so there is no hardware to procure, no large up-front license fee, and no software to maintain, update and upgrade. And finally, the products' easy-to-use "dashboard" user interface provides an intelligent, role-specific portal view of the application.

"NetSuite delivers a powerful and complete business management application that includes ERP, CRM and ecommerce functionality for the SMEs in the Canadian market," said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. "Instead of stand-alone software packages, NetSuite offerings enable SMEs to manage their operations from lead, to sale, to cash, to support, to ecommerce without heavy upfront IT costs and without the burden of maintaining a costly IT staff."
