NetSuite APAC channel grows 300%

APAC Channel Partners Benefit From Leading ERP Cloud Suite

SYDNEY, 12 October 2010—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry’s leading provider of cloud-based financials / enterprise resource planning ERP software suites, today announced that more Asia Pacific-based technology channel partners have joined with NetSuite to drive the adoption of NetSuite cloud solutions. As NetSuite continues to gain influence in cloud computing, many of the region’s best-known Value Added Resellers (VARs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs) have become NetSuite channel partners during the past 12 months.

The growth in the APAC channel enthusiasm for NetSuite corroborates data recently released by Gartner. In a recent report, Gartner reveals that 39 per cent of survey respondents worldwide have identified cloud computing as a key IT budget priority. Furthermore, the report establishes that global spending on cloud computing providers is set to account for 10 per cent of all external IT spend this year, with an increasing share of the global IT market expected in 2011. As the cloud has grown, the channel has grown with it. According to Gartner, between 40 and 50 percent of APAC cloud expenditures go to external service providers.

"The cloud is the perfect destination for developer and reseller organisations of all sizes, and the APAC market has not only embraced the cloud, but cloud services provided by trusted business partners," said Chris Schafer, APAC Managing Director of NetSuite. "NetSuite’s growing network of developers and partners in the APAC region is crucial to helping enterprises of all sizes realise the benefits of cloud computing; enabling them to increase productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations."
