Carphone Warehouse Business Solutions Implements NetSuite CRM+ for Sales Force Automation, Marketing and Customer Support

Another Subsidiary of the Carphone Warehouse Group Turns to NetSuite to Grow Company

LONDON and SAN MATEO, Calif.—July 12, 2006—NetSuite, Inc., the leader in on-demand business software suites, today announced that Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse, a wholly owned subsidiary of £3 billion giant The Carphone Warehouse Group (a UK FTSE 250 company), has selected NetSuite CRM+ for its proven speed-to-implementation and powerful functionality in sales force automation (SFA), marketing automation, and customer support. Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse has licensed 400 user seats and will implement NetSuite in three phases starting with SFA for prospecting, opportunity management and booking orders; marketing automation for executing targeted campaigns; and customer support and service for all business users of Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse. In light of the successful results its sister company Opal Telecom has achieved using NetSuite, Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse aims to grow the company with NetSuite. The decision by Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse to standardise its sales, marketing and support operations on NetSuite CRM+ is based on key factors including the rapid rate at which Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse is growing and expanding its business, coupled with the proven success of NetSuite's on-demand model in aligning with the fast-paced, high-growth telecoms market. NetSuite's successful implementation with Opal Telecom was another key factor of the decision. (See NetSuite-Opal Telecom press release at www.netsuite.com.sg/portal/sg/press/releases/nlpr06-23-05a.shtml.) Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse is expanding into one of the largest business-to-business telecom providers. Due to the company's rapid growth as a result of the increasing demand for mobile solutions, NetSuite CRM+ will be an important component of its future growth.

"Typical server-based software implementation is time-consuming and would have restricted our business in meeting the aggressive timescale to deliver the CRM solution," said Alan Rawstron, IT Director of Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse. "NetSuite CRM+ offered the only CRM solution that could be installed within an acceptable timeframe. It was essentially configured from the moment we purchased it, enabling us to have everything in place much faster than any competing products. Choosing NetSuite has given us an industry-proven CRM package that's compatible with our existing software — and at excellent value, too. It's definitely the right product for our rapidly-growing telecommunications business."

"With the success of Opal Telecom, NetSuite's largest customer to-date, we have already proven that having one integrated on-demand solution can take away the pains that large European companies experience with traditional software systems," said Dean Mansfield, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at NetSuite. "We look forward to helping yet another significant portion of The Carphone Warehouse Group's successful business operations gain the time-to-implementation benefits and powerful functionality of NetSuite CRM+."
