Nelson to Address How Cloud Computing Can Help Government Improve Efficiency and Cut Costs
SAN MATEO, Calif.—February 19, 2009—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for the mid-market enterprise and divisions of large companies, today announced that NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson is scheduled to deliver a luncheon keynote presentation at the second annual SaaS/GOV Conference to be held February 25, in Washington D.C., put on by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). Nelson will address the benefits of cloud computing and the role it can play helping government improve efficiency while cutting costs.
Designed for an audience of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, federal IT purchasers and other influencers, the conference will focus on how to sell Software as a Service (SaaS) to the federal government.
Mr. Nelson's keynote, entitled "Government 2.0: How the Cloud Can Improve Government," will discuss how cloud computing application technologies powered the recent presidential campaigns and revolutionised private sector business technology infrastructure and how it can do the same for government organisations.
Mr. Nelson's keynote address is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25 at 12:00 noon EDT at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, D.C.
