SAN MATEO, Calif.—October 13, 2015—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, today announced a new partnership with the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI), a nonprofit Organisation that connects, inspires and guides women in computing and organisations that view technology innovation as a strategic imperative. As part of the partnership, NetSuite is a Gold Sponsor for the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, an annual ABI conference to be held this year on October 14–16 in Houston, Texas. The partnership also provides NetSuite opportunities to participate in trainings on diversity issues around women in technology. Started in 1994, the Grace Hopper Celebration is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists, anticipating as many as 12,000 attendees this year, including students and professionals from industry, government and academia from more than 50 countries. The event is named after the late Grace Murray Hopper, a U.S. Navy Rear Admiral whose pioneering computer science career spanned the 1930s to 1990s.
