NetSuite and ChannelAdvisor speed business transformation for commerce businesses

Integrated Solution Enables Merchants to Grow Global Omnichannel Commerce Sales

SHOP.ORG SUMMIT and SAN MATEO, Calif.—September 29, 2014—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, today announced strong adoption and success of its integrated solution with ChannelAdvisor, (NYSE:ECOM), a leading provider of cloud-based ecommerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to efficiently automate and manage the online selling process across multiple channels, including third-party marketplaces and digital marketing channels, that allows online merchants to transform retail operations by automating and growing global omnichannel commerce sales. The ChannelAdvisor SuiteApp, built on NetSuite's SuiteCloud Development Platform by ChannelAdvisor, offers native bi-directional integration with NetSuite cloud ERP, allowing retailers such as AvidMax Outfitters and Pro Audio & Lighting to streamline product and order data exchange between NetSuite and ChannelAdvisor to help grow sales across online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Sears, Newegg, Rakuten.com Shopping and digital marketing channels such as paid search and comparison shopping engines.

Today's retailers confront the increasingly complex challenges of meeting expectations for a broader selection of products, immediate order fulfilment, lower prices and a consistent customer experience across multiple channels. Meanwhile, the number of channels continues to expand, from online to brick and mortar stores, to a growing number of online marketplaces. Unfortunately, many retailers are dealing with a wide array of disconnected systems across CRM, ecommerce, order management, merchandising, marketing and financials that are patched together with complicated, custom-built integrations that leave retailers with incomplete, siloed information, disjointed and manual processes and limited visibility into supply and demand.

Available at www.suiteapp.com to joint ChannelAdvisor and NetSuite customers, the ChannelAdvisor SuiteApp offers tremendous time savings for retailers that have to manually manage the data exchange between NetSuite and ChannelAdvisor. The SuiteApp also enables retailers to overcome the limitations that come from using third-party packaged or custom-built integrations. With the integration, retailers are positioned to take full advantage of online marketplaces by expanding their business through a growing revenue stream in both domestic and international markets, making it possible for companies to reach and market to consumers over popular and trusted third-party sites without time-consuming workarounds.

"One challenge ChannelAdvisor's growing mid-tier customers face is back-office automation and efficiency," said Scot Wingo, ChannelAdvisor CEO. "Our alliance with NetSuite provides our customers a seamless integration so that they can scale demand generation without missing a beat on the execution of that growth."

"In today's omnichannel environment consumers are demanding virtually unlimited assortment and complete transparency into product availability," said Andy Lloyd, General Manager of Commerce Products for NetSuite. "By utilizing Channel Advisor in conjunction with NetSuite, our customers are able to reach their consumers wherever they shop while utilizing NetSuite's responsive storefront, global inventory visibility, distributed order management and comprehensive customer profiles to sell more goods and increase customer satisfaction."

AvidMax Outfitters and Pro Audio & Lighting are among the many retailers that have recently augmented their NetSuite/ChannelAdvisor environments with the ChannelAdvisor SuiteApp:

AvidMax Outfitters (www.avidmax.com), a retailer of outdoor gear for fishing, cycling hiking and more based in Centennial, CO., has improved its scalability and control since replacing a custom-built third-party integration solution it had in place to connect the two platforms with the ChannelAdvisor SuiteApp. Since going live with the SuiteApp in April 2014, AvidMax has been able to efficiently manage the marketplace postings of about 10,000 SKUs by automating the bi-directional exchange of product and order data between NetSuite and ChannelAdvisor for Amazon, eBay, Rakuten.com Shopping, Sears and Newegg marketplaces in the U.S., as well as eBay sites for the U.K. and Australia. Together, ChannelAdvisor and NetSuite supply a "very powerful system" that automates key processes and enables scalable growth across multiple marketplaces, according to Cory Anderson, AvidMax General Manager.

"The ChannelAdvisor/NetSuite SuiteApp utilises a lot more functionality on the ChannelAdvisor side and ties in very well with NetSuite," Anderson said. "It's a very seamless process so we really don't need to think about it too much. The biggest benefits are better data accuracy and tremendous time savings."

Pro Audio & Lighting (www.proaal.com), a fast-growing seller of a wide array of sound and lighting equipment for bands, DJs, clubs, churches and other B2B and B2C customers, is saving between two and four hours a day in processing orders from eBay and Amazon in the U.S. and Canada with the ChannelAdvisor SuiteApp compared to its previous manual processes. The joint solution from NetSuite and ChannelAdvisor has been instrumental in enabling Pro Audio & Lighting, based outside Detroit, Mich., to significantly grow its business through Amazon and eBay, with the number of eBay feedback comments increasing from 1,000 to more than 10,000 since 2011. Going live in early 2013, ChannelAdvisor has been an ideal complement to NetSuite, which Pro Audio & Lighting installed in 2011 for financials, inventory management of about 25,000 SKUs, CRM and its SuiteCommerce-based ecommerce storefront, replacing QuickBooks and other disparate applications.

"The time savings and accuracy of data we get with NetSuite and ChannelAdvisor have been outstanding," said David Brown, System Administrator. "The new connector has made the integration super slick. We're much faster getting new products on the marketplaces because we only have to enter information in NetSuite and flip the switch."

Today, more than 20,000 companies and subsidiaries depend on NetSuite to run complex, mission-critical business processes globally in the cloud. Since its inception in 1998, NetSuite has established itself as the leading provider of enterprise-class cloud financials/ERP suites for divisions of large enterprises and mid-sized organisations seeking to upgrade their antiquated client/server ERP systems. NetSuite excels at streamlining business operations as demonstrated in a recent Gartner study naming NetSuite as the fastest growing financial management software vendor on a global basis. NetSuite continues its success in delivering the best cloud ERP/financials suites to businesses around the world, enabling them to lower IT costs significantly while increasing productivity, as the global adoption of the cloud is accelerating.

The ChannelAdvisor platform offers retailers and manufacturers leading cloud-based solutions to efficiently automate and manage the online selling process across multiple channels, including third-party marketplaces and digital marketing channels such as paid search and comparison shopping engines. Through a single inventory feed, ChannelAdvisor customers can manage their overall online selling process, from listing to order management, from one platform. By eliminating the tedious tasks of optimising online listings and analyzing performance, ChannelAdvisor enables sellers to increase sales and successfully scale their e-commerce businesses.
